Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position requires a proactive approach to custodial duties. We are looking for 2 part-time teammembers for 3rd shift Monday-Friday, 11pm-3am for office and warehouse cleaning. The opportunity for additional hours are sometimes available for the right candidates. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting in designated areas, and emptying trash. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management promptly. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of daily cleaning schedules. The ability to operate a walk behind floor cleaning machine. The ability to keep janitorial closets clean. Reliable Transportation is a must. Skills Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning environments is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
