This role is ideal for someone with strong post-construction cleaning experience who is ready to take on a leadership position. The Lead Post-Construction Cleaner will help coordinate cleaning crews, assist with hands-on cleaning when needed, manage supplies and equipment, and ensure newly built or renovated spaces are cleaned to a high standard and ready for client turnover. This position is project-based, and scheduling may vary from week to week depending on job site timelines. The right candidate should be dependable, detail-oriented, able to lead by example, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities Lead and assist cleaning crews on active job sites Perform detailed post-construction cleaning, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, polishing, and debris removal Assist with floor cleaning, window cleaning, and pressure washing as needed Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, break areas, and common spaces Clean windows, glass, mirrors, and other high-touch surfaces Safely operate and transport cleaning equipment and supplies Follow company cleaning procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations Communicate job progress, supply needs, and site concerns with management Report damage, maintenance issues, or safety concerns immediately Ensure work areas are completed properly and ready for client inspection Qualifications Previous post-construction or commercial cleaning experience required Leadership or crew lead experience preferred Experience with floor cleaning, window cleaning, and pressure washing is a plus Ability to lift, carry, and transport cleaning supplies and equipment Experience using floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and related cleaning tools preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards Ability to work independently and manage small teams Reliable transportation to and from job sites Good communication and time management skills Flexible availability, as schedules may change based on project needs Compensation $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience Part-time / Contract position Flexible schedule based on project needs Physical Setting Commercial job sites, including offices, restaurants, hotels, schools, apartments, and similar properties Indoor and outdoor work environments Active construction and post-construction settings Typical Schedule 4-hour, 8-hour, or 10-hour shifts Day, evening, and weekend shifts may be required depending on project timelines Benefits Flexible schedule Paid training Opportunities for advancement Professional development assistance How to Apply If you have post-construction cleaning experience and are ready to lead a professional cleaning team, please submit your resume or contact information.
