Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1st Shift Day Porter to join our commercial cleaning team. This vital role is perfect for someone with a strong background in custodial and janitorial services who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a Porter, you will be the first line of support in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities during daytime hours. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure our clients' spaces are spotless, well-maintained, and professionally presented every day. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high cleanliness standards. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and using proper cleaning techniques for industrial and commercial settings. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored, organized, and maintained for efficient operations. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, floor care techniques, and custodial equipment operation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleaning routines. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual cleaning tasks throughout the shift. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-3 pm Pay is monthly
