Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Performs janitorial tasks to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the common areas, hallways, and other assigned areas. Adheres to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management-related matters. Maintain proper documentation on required paperwork. All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High School or equivalent not required but beneficial. Must be willing to learn all jobs in the assigned area. Good communication skills. Good attendance (Less than 4 Points) if a current employee. Able to work with little supervision. Ability to work with a diverse group of employees.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, if applicable. Work in areas with wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May be exposed to hot and dusty work environments. Ability to move easily through multiple doors, one- and two-story environments. May be exposed to chemicals used for disinfecting and cleaning. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. Lift a minimum of 50lbs with assistance. Work Areas may or may not be temperature controlled. Multi-lingual, diverse work environment. Usually works six days a week; overtime may be required based on production needs.
