Job Description

Environmental Services Team Member Durham, NC Title:
Environmental Services Team Member Schedule:
3rd shift available. Full-time availability needed, including weekends and holidays.
Pay Rate :
$16-$19 per hour + $1.50 per hour shift differential Job Summary The Environmental Services Team Member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the hospital and ensuring the areas and stocked and ready for use. Essential Job Functions Cleaning all areas of the hospital by disinfecting, wiping surfaces, taking out the trash & recycling, sweeping, and mopping areas of the hospital as outlined on the daily cleaning checklist.
Areas include:
Lobby Doctors offices Exam rooms Treatment Area ICU Radiology Client & Employee Bathrooms Locker Room Central Supply Hallways Employee break room Kennel area kitchen Conference room Vacuuming Wiping windows, dusting window ledges and blinds Cleaning counters/desks Restocking paper and janitorial products throughout the hospital including paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, and trash bags Restocking medical supplies in various areas of the hospital Washing, drying, folding, and putting away patient laundry & bedding Emptying outdoor trash receptacles Using appropriate disinfectants for each task including Rescue Disinfectant, laundry detergent, or bleach consistent with hospital protocols and training Following hospital protocols for infectious disease disinfection and waste handling Using appropriate PPE including gloves or gowns when warranted Adding environmental services supplies to the reorder list when running low Notifying management of any facilities-related concerns In addition to a competitive salary, TVRH offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Health, vision, and dental Short-term and long-term disability Critical Illness and Accident Life Insurance 401k with employer match Internal benefits include PTO, CE PTO and allowance, uniform allowance, and veterinary services discount.
