Part Time Janitor

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Janitor to join our facilities maintenance team. This role is essential in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our commercial or residential spaces. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across designated areas. Conduct industrial cleaning procedures as needed, utilizing appropriate equipment and cleaning agents. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs and assisting with minor custodial repairs or upkeep. Ensure restrooms and common areas are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies. Assist with residential painting projects when required, preparing surfaces and applying paint safely. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a secure environment. Qualifications Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods. Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning equipment like buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines.
