Janitor/Cleaner

Monday-Friday and weekends as needed Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that all spaces are hygienic, well-maintained, and presentable for employees, visitors, and clients alike. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness through efficient cleaning practices and facility upkeep. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of machinery or large areas when necessary Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, fixtures, and furniture to uphold a professional environment Assist with custodial duties related to waste disposal, restocking supplies, and minor maintenance tasks Support facilities maintenance activities including light repairs or painting as needed to ensure optimal facility condition Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques Strong understanding of floor care methods including buffing and polishing equipment operation Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality standards Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices such as minor repairs or residential painting is a plus Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple cleaning responsibilities effectively Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and properly handle cleaning chemicals Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing manual tasks throughout the shift Join our team to help create clean, safe environments that foster productivity and comfort!
