Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained. Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation to uphold hygiene standards. Carry out specialized cleaning procedures for commercial and industrial spaces, including carpet cleaning and floor care treatments. Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs or notifying maintenance teams of issues requiring attention. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to safety protocols. Support facilities maintenance activities such as painting touch-ups or light repairs as needed. Assist with porter duties by managing supplies, restocking restrooms, and ensuring common areas are tidy throughout the day. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies to perform tasks efficiently. Experience with facilities maintenance or residential painting is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines while working independently or as part of a team.
