Janitorial Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.. Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance issues promptly. Provide custodial support for special events or functions as needed. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties. Requirements Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential. Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving equipment or materials as necessary. Reliable transportation Team player Able to pass a background and drug test.
