Township Evening Cleaner

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning of public spaces, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface sanitation to uphold hygiene standards Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks like light repairs or reporting maintenance issues promptly Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized cleaning needs as required for community events or facility upgrades Maintain cleanliness logs and complete shift reports to ensure accountability and proper documentation of completed tasks Use commercial cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, residential, or industrial settings Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing for various flooring types Experience with general facilities maintenance or porter duties is preferred Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills Ability to work independently during evening hours in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods Join us as a Township Evening Cleaner and be part of a team committed to creating clean, safe, and welcoming community spaces!
