Overview Join our dynamic team as a Custodian Maintenance professional, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our facilities spotless, safe, and well-maintained. In this vital role, you will be responsible for a wide range of cleaning and maintenance tasks that ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Your proactive approach and dedication will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities, fostering a positive atmosphere for everyone. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Conduct floor care activities such as mopping and vacuuming. Carry out janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and restocking supplies to uphold cleanliness standards. Assist with custodial responsibilities related to industrial cleaning tasks in larger or specialized areas. Support facilities maintenance by reporting and/or assisting with repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Provide porter services such as moving furniture or supplies and maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic areas. Perform painting touch-ups or minor repairs when necessary to preserve the facility's appearance. Requirements Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures is preferred. Experience with industrial cleaning processes and facilities maintenance is preferred. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety standards. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
