Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and address them promptly. Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to deliver consistent results across all assigned areas. Support floor care activities including stripping, waxing, polishing, and buffing to preserve the appearance and longevity of flooring surfaces. Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning or specialized facility maintenance when required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards. Skilled in various cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices with the ability to identify repair needs or hazards. Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with residential painting or other maintenance tasks that support facility upkeep is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
