Janitor/Cleaner - starting August 3rd

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks effectively. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing and stripping as necessary to ensure they are clean and presentable. This won't be often, and you'd have assistance. Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies. Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks as assigned, including carpet cleaning and window washing. Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report any facility issues that require attention. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus. Experience in floor care techniques such as buffing and stripping is advantageous. Ability to work independently! Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively. Must be able to follow directions from boss and do what you're asked
