Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the common areas of a mall, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. Duties Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas. Maintain restrooms by cleaning and restocking supplies as necessary. Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained. Handle commercial cleaning tasks in various settings, including offices, warehouses, and residential properties. Assist with custodial duties related to facilities maintenance, ensuring all areas are safe and sanitary. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Familiarity with floor care processes including buffing and waxing. Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus. Basic maintenance skills to assist with minor repairs or upkeep of facilities. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
