Job Description

Duties and Tasks Perform daily detailed cleaning of park buildings, including restrooms, visitor centers, shelters, cabins and offices Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors, surfaces, and high-touch areas regularly Clean windows, doors, and interior glass surfaces Empty trash and recycling receptacles and maintain orderly waste disposal Perform light painting, groundskeeping, and landscaping as needed to support facility cleanliness and presentation to include cabins Assist with basic repairs and routine maintenance tasks under supervision Operate cleaning equipment and hand tools safely and effectively Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as required Follow all safety protocols and park policies while performing cleaning and maintenance tasks Interact courteously with park visitors and provide assistance when necessary Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 16 years of age Valid driver's license Willingness to perform physical cleaning tasks and learn basic maintenance skills Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Previous experience in janitorial work, groundskeeping, or general maintenance preferred Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Required to work evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts About Team ND "Far and away the best prize life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing." - Theodore Roosevelt More than 7,500 talented, hard-working people across sixty-three agencies have come together as Team North Dakota.
