The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for food production and processing. This role is crucial in supporting our commitment to quality and safety in the manufacturing process. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and tools to meet health and safety regulations. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. Assist in the removal of waste materials and ensure proper disposal practices are followed. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas within the facility. Follow established sanitation procedures to prevent contamination during food processing. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly. Experience Previous experience in sanitation or custodial roles is preferred, particularly in food production or manufacturing environments. Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during cleaning tasks. Experience in commercial cleaning or warehouse settings will be beneficial. A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness is essential.
