Independent Subcontractor Opportunity — Janitorial Services Janitorial Subcontractor — Oxford Depot Building Oxford, NE | Once Weekly (Sundays) | ~30 Minutes Per Visit | Independent Contractor (1099) This is a contract (subcontractor) position — not employment. The selected contractor performs services as an independent business under a subcontract agreement, is paid via 1099, and is not a Midwest Maintenance employee. Position Overview Midwest Maintenance Company, Inc. is seeking an independent janitorial subcontractor to provide weekly cleaning services at the Oxford Depot Building in Oxford, Nebraska. This is a small, light-duty account: the full cleaning routine takes approximately 30 minutes per visit, once per week on Sundays. It is well suited to an established cleaning contractor or sole-proprietor looking to add a short, recurring weekly stop to an existing route.

Approximately 30-45 minutes per visit General Scope of Work (Per Weekly Visit) Empty all trash receptacles, replace liners, and remove trash to the designated disposal area. Vacuum carpeted areas and spot-mop hard-surface floors as needed. Clean and restock restroom(s): sanitize toilets, sinks, and fixtures; clean mirrors; and refill paper products and soap. Dust and wipe down surfaces, glass, and frequently touched points (counters, ledges, door handles, light switches). Leave the building secured and lights/doors as found upon completion. Compensation $173.33 per month (flat monthly rate for the weekly service described above). Paid as an independent contractor (1099). The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, and is not eligible for employee wages, benefits, overtime, or workers' compensation through Midwest Maintenance. Contractor Requirements Operate as an independent contractor or established cleaning business; able to complete and provide a W-9. Reliable transportation and the ability to service the site weekly on the scheduled day. Furnish own cleaning supplies and equipment (vacuum, mop, cloths, chemicals, liners, restroom consumables) unless otherwise agreed in the subcontract. Professional, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Ability to follow a basic scope checklist and maintain a consistent quality standard.
