Overview Join our dynamic team as a Janitor and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies Conduct custodial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, window washing, and surface sanitization to uphold high standards of cleanliness Maintain floor care routines including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality and appearance Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and reporting larger issues to maintenance teams Support industrial cleaning projects when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and cleanliness standards Use commercial cleaning tools efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines to maximize productivity Keep detailed records of cleaning activities and supply inventory to ensure smooth operations Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care (buffing, waxing), sanitation practices, and general maintenance procedures Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and extractors safely and effectively Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders if necessary Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly Join us in creating a pristine environment that promotes safety and comfort!
