This is a Monday-Friday position no weekends or major holidays are required. A typical day for this position would consist of part time hours (4 hour evening shifts). Please note that we do require a license and reliable transportation Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal. maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance. Assist with custodial duties like restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to promote health and safety. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repair needs or safety hazards promptly. Utilize janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Provide porter services as needed, including moving supplies or furniture to facilitate cleaning or maintenance activities. Maintain detailed records of cleaning tasks completed and supplies used to ensure accountability and consistency. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing is highly desirable. Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance helps ensure a smooth transition into the role. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus to maintain a safe working environment. Previous porter or maintenance experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic above all.
