Job Description
The Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative School District is hiring for summer custodial support. The position is temporary for summer months only and will assist with custodial duties and summer cleaning projects in each of the district's schools.
The position of custodian is responsible for the general overall cleaning and minor maintenance of all areas as assigned so as to maintain a safe and sanitary facility for students and staff. The District uses green materials to clean buildings. Custodians are trained on the use and proper handling of these materials. Position requirements include, but are not limited to: Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude at all times towards students, staff, and the general public.
Learn and accomplish tasks with minimum supervision.
Demonstrate the initiative to do routine cleaning and minor repairs with fine attention to detail. Dress appropriately.
Able to be flexible and address unexpected custodial requests at a moment's notice.
Ability to send/receive emails.
Ability to receive/complete/enter work orders, and check calendar via Master Library.
