Job Overview Local janitorial company seeking a reliable and detail oriented individual to clean common areas at an apartment complex located in Nashua NH. Job consists of vacuuming hallways, cleaning glass, cleaning a couple small laundry rooms and bathrooms, and cleaning a community room. 3 hours a day, 2 days a week. Flexible daytime hours. Could also lead to more work for the right candidate, including the possibility of helping out with apartment turnovers. Must be able to pass criminal background check. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Conduct janitorial duties such as restocking supplies, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring restrooms are sanitary and well-maintained. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for all occupants. Uphold safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations. Requirements Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within commercial or residential settings. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies used in commercial cleaning environments. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Prior experience with residential painting or maintenance duties is a plus but not required. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
