Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaner to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our Food & Beverage areas, including kitchens, restaurants, bars, dining facilities, and storage areas. This role reports to the Facilities Manager and plays a key part in delivering a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and employees. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, walls, windows, equipment, and appliances; removing trash and debris; maintaining supply areas; and performing deep cleaning tasks from floor to ceiling. The role requires safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, moving items for thorough cleaning, and responding promptly to cleaning needs and emergencies. The position may involve working early morning shifts (starting at 5:00 AM), maintaining safety standards, reporting hazards or incidents, and supporting overall operations by keeping work areas organized, stocked, and hazard-free. Strong teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude are essential. Strong attention to detail and observation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience using cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks (standing, bending, climbing ladders) Basic communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions High School Diploma or equivalent preferred At least 6 months of cleaning, porter, or related experience preferred Ability to use basic mobile phone functions for communication Must be adaptable, self-motivated, and maintain a professional demeanor The Heavy Duty Cleaner is responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout all Food & Beverage areas while supporting a safe and welcoming environment. This role contributes to the overall guest experience by maintaining clean, organized, and fully stocked spaces in alignment with company policies and service standards. Car and driver's license required Must speak English Self-motivated to work individually, but flexible to be a team player as well
