Meal Service and Custodial Support Staff Winchester

is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Meal Service and Custodial Support Staff to help keep our children's programs clean, safe, welcoming, and running smoothly. This position supports the daily operations of our youth programs by assisting with meal and snack service, cleaning and sanitizing program spaces, restocking supplies, and helping maintain a safe and organized environment for children, families, and staff. Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing, organizing, and serving meals and snacks Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines Clean and sanitize kitchen, meal, classroom, bathroom, and common areas Sweep, mop, wipe surfaces, empty trash, and complete routine cleaning tasks Restock paper goods, cleaning supplies, and other program materials as needed Help ensure program spaces are clean, safe, and ready for children and staff each day Track meal counts or related documentation as needed Report supply needs, maintenance concerns, safety issues, or cleanliness concerns to the Site Director Support a respectful, welcoming environment for children, families, and staff
Qualifications:
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Able to follow cleaning, food safety, and program routines Comfortable working in a school, childcare, or youth program environment Able to work independently and as part of a team Prior experience in food service, custodial work, school programs, childcare, or cleaning preferred, but not required Must pass required background and criminal records checks
Schedule:
Part-time, semi-flexible.
Pay:
$14-$17/hr based on experience Why Work With Winchester
