Job Overview We are hiring a Day Porter / Cleaner to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and day-to-day upkeep of client facilities. This is an important front-line role where your work directly impacts how clients, employees, and guests experience a building. You'll be part of a modern team that values reliability, respect, hustle, and quality service. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and restroom cleaning Keep common areas, entrances, breakrooms, and high-traffic spaces clean and presentable throughout the day Monitor and restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials Spot clean glass, doors, touchpoints, and surfaces as needed Support floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining different floor types Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly Assist with light porter duties such as moving furniture, setting up rooms, or handling deliveries Follow company safety procedures and cleaning standards at all times What We're Looking For Experience in janitorial, porter, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning preferred Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean Positive attitude and ability to work independently or with a team Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and stay active during shifts Comfortable using cleaning tools and equipment Good communication and professionalism with clients and coworkers Why Join GenZ Facility Solutions Work for a modern company with growth opportunities Professional, respectful team environment Consistent work opportunities Opportunity to grow into supervisor or leadership roles Be part of a company changing the image of the cleaning industry
