Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all kitchen surfaces, equipment, utensils, and food prep areas to meet health standards. Assist with food handling tasks, including proper storage, labeling, and disposal of ingredients to prevent contamination. Support food preparation activities by organizing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness during meal assembly, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by bussing tables promptly and ensuring the overall tidiness of service spaces. Help with catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving stations are sanitized and ready for service. Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures diligently to uphold regulatory standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service times while maintaining a focus on hygiene. Wash pots and Pans utensils in a timely manner, according to all health regulations Responsible for mopping and sweeping floors Responsible for cleaning bathrooms Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures. Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering settings. Familiarity with bussing, serving, and basic food preparation tasks. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality service. Prior banquet or catering experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge of health regulations related to kitchen sanitation and food safety practices.
