Job Description
Company DescriptionMcWane Ductile New Jersey is an industry leader in manufacturing water distribution and infrastructure products. As our country expanded, so did the need to supply growing cities with clean water and safely remove wastewater. Our location history starts in 1865 when Warren Foundry and Machine Company casted stoves, steam engines, mill gearing and other foundry related items. Currently we specialize in the casting of iron ductile pipes that range from 3" to 24" in diameter.

Work with supervisor if ladles need to be repaired before the production run.
Communicate supervisor/s on issues that arise.
Casting AreaCommunicate with supervisor/s or specific production issues on cleaning certain areas of machines.
Ensure all machines are clean and ready for production time startups.
Ensure up and over area is clean.
Ensure ladles are on machines in a timely manner. Need to meet time hacks to get fire on them for production machine startups.
Communicate with supervisor on specific tools and or equipment needed for cleanup tasks. Finishing AreaCommunicate with supervisor/s on certain tasks needed to be done from the production run outside of normal clean up duties. (email
Communicate all work orders in a timely manner found in finishing departments. Plant MaintenanceCoordinate with supervisor/s when issues arise of certain tasks on machines.
Assist in signing lockout/tagout (LOTO) forms for maintenance employees. SafetyComplete monthly safety requirements.
Complete safety paperwork assigned to you from all departments that cannot be completed during production hours.
