Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Carry out custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings. Execute floor care procedures such as buffing and waxing to maintain surfaces. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall operations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Experience in residential painting is a plus but not required. Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and equipment operation. Familiarity with custodial procedures in both commercial and residential environments. Proficient in floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with staff and management professionally.
