Opens a new window. Summary The Custodian is responsible for a wide variety of cleaning and general custodial services within Curry County Courthouse and other County facilities. Minimum Requirements Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. High School Diploma or G.E.D required. At least one (1) year previous custodial experience preferred. Must have no felony convictions or pending convictions. Valid NM Drivers License. No DWI conviction within the past three (3) years. Must be able to understand and communicate in English. Ability to perform all essential duties as listed below. Ability to perform the essential duties in the working conditions described below. Ability to work with the equipment; tools and materials listed below. Must comply with safety guidelines and policies of the County. Benefits Curry County contributes 21.66% and employee contributes 6.79% each pay period into the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) Curry County pays 80% of medical premiums. Dental Vision and Disability Insurance offered as well. Curry County provides a $50,000 life insurance policy for all employees. Dependent and Spouse Life Insurance Benefits available. 12.5 paid Holidays per year. 8 hours Personal Day per year. 80 hours Paid Vacation per year. 96 hours Paid Sick Leave per year.
