PM, M-F Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of routine maintenance operations. Trains and supervises the custodial staff to maintain an orderly, safe, and efficient cleaning operation. Requires knowledge in the care and use of power equipment. Supervises two or more full-time employees; Makes decisions regarding hiring, evaluation, promotion and termination of employees, or makes related recommendations; Schedules work to meet normal requirement without interfering with residents or occupants of office space; Directs workers performing cleaning tasks; Develops and participates in a training program which familiarizes custodial staff with particular problems involved in custodial services including improved techniques; Inspects buildings, rooms, storage space, hallways, fixtures and custodial equipment to observe the results of work; Requisitions appropriate materials and supplies; Prepares and submits appropriate reports and memoranda regarding custodial policies and procedures; Recommends budget, materials and equipment for the area.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience.

Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements: i.e. extreme temp, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, other potentially dangerous materials/situations that require safety precaution/protective equip
Physical Effort:
Considerable physical activity. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of the job.
Lifting Requirements:
Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.

Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
