Part-Time Janitor/Custodian - Federal Building

About the Position Silver Creek Solutions LLC is hiring a part-time janitor to perform cleaning services three days per week at a federal building in Ely, NV. This is a stable, long-term position contingent upon a federal government contract award. Schedule 3 days per week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (or Saturday/Sunday by arrangement)

Hours:

before 7:00 AM or after 5:00 PM on each service day Approximately 4-5 hours per visit Start date: August 1, 2026

Pay:

$16-$22/hr What You'll Do Each visit you will vacuum carpeted areas, sweep and mop hard floors, dust surfaces, clean interior glass, empty trash, hauling trash, and clean and disinfect both restrooms. You will also clean drinking fountains, remove cigarette debris from outdoor receptacles, and confirm restroom supplies are stocked. Additional deep cleaning tasks are scheduled periodically throughout the year and may occasionally require working alongside a second person. You work independently with no supervision on site. The building is a federal government facility and your work will be subject to regular quality inspections. Requirements Must pass a federal background investigation (coordinated by Silver Creek at no cost to you) Must be eligible to work in the U.S. Reliable transportation to Ely, NV Ability to stand for 4-5 hours, push/pull a commercial vacuum, and lift up to 40 lbs Must be able to work independently and secure the building upon entry and departure Must complete approximately 5-6 hours of mandatory federal online training within the first 90 days (paid) About Silver Creek Solutions LLC Silver Creek Solutions LLC is a small business that provides janitorial services for state and federal agencies.
