Job Summary:

CommandTec, LLC has a requirement for a Custodian supporting a federal government customer. The Custodian performs routine cleaning and maintenance of facilities to ensure a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment. This position works under general supervision to complete assigned custodial tasks, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining designated areas in accordance with established standards. The Custodian supports daily operations by ensuring cleanliness, proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies, and compliance with safety and environmental requirements. The Custodian operates cleaning equipment, handles chemicals in accordance with safety regulations and Safety Data Sheets, and ensures proper use of personal protective equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain carpeted and non-carpeted floors Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and fixtures Restock restroom supplies including soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated areas Dust furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces Clean entryways, breakrooms, and common areas Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor machines Maintain cleaning equipment and report malfunctions Follow safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals Use personal protective equipment as required Report on maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisors Support quality control inspections and corrective actions Maintain professional conduct while working in occupied facilities Follow site-specific procedures and schedules Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned
