Full-time Summary:

Performs heavy duty cleaning in kitchens and food preparation areas. Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned). Clean, wash and sterilize kitchen floors, using water hoses, cleaning and sterilizing solutions and rinses. Cleans and sanitizes food preparation areas. Cleans and sanitizes ovens, grills, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers and steam kettles. Cleans floor mats. Mixes water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Minimum one year of experience cleaning kitchens preferred. Knowledge of chemicals and sanitation techniques and procedures. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally. Must be able to use hands and fingers, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, Vision abilities are close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception. Prolonged standing or walking. Exposure to wet, humid conditions. Exposure to cold.
