Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized and sanitary workspace, supporting the overall operations of our organization. Duties Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies are low Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment during cleaning activities Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning duties Adhere to established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure timely completion of tasks Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality Ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals responsibly Nice-to-have skills include knowledge of environmentally friendly cleaning practices and familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment This position offers an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment.
