Job Description:
LOCATION/UNIT
: Cranberry Lake Biological Center
TITLE/SALARY GRADE
Cleaner, SG-5
SALARY:
$16.43 per hour/ non negotiable
DURATION
Full Time Temporary
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Use cleaning chemicals and mechanical or hand-operated equipment to perform cleaning of campus buildings, houses and adjacent grounds/sidewalks. Clean classrooms, restrooms, laboratories, offices, rooms and assigned areas. Perform daily and seasonal cleaning such as dusting, mopping floors, washing stairs, walls, windows, appliances, household items, upholstery, window treatments and doors; vacuum, strip, wax and buff floors. Use appropriate equipment such as ladders to wash light fixtures and replace light bulbs. Maintain exterior and interior entranceways. Move and arrange furniture for cleaning and meeting set-up. Remove trash and recycling.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be physically able to perform medium to heavy physical labor, and able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions
OPERATIONAL NEEDS
May 1, 2026- August 31, 2026 7:00AM - 3:30PM Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday Full time position based on a 40-hour work week May be required to work overtime based on operational needs
