US News Job Description:

SUNY Delhi seeks applications for energetic Cleaners to join the Custodial team. SUNY Delhi prides itself on being a welcoming college community for all. The college seeks a wide range of applicants for its positions so that inclusive excellence will be affirmed. Cleaners perform a variety of routine manual tasks requiring light, medium, and heavy physical effort in cleaning and caring for an assigned area on campus.

Areas include:

Academic and office buildings Athletic facilities, Student and community center Student residence halls, Health center Adjacent grounds and sidewalks. Cleaners work independently, and as part of a work team, performing a wide range of specialized and routine cleaning activities such as: Stripping and polishing floors Window washing Vacuuming Trash and recycling removal Dusting and cleaning walls. Work requires cleaning specialized areas within buildings such as; office spaces, kitchens, common areas, lounges, laundry rooms, locker rooms, classrooms, and laboratories. This job classification is non-supervisory.

Requirements:

Applicants must be physically able to perform medium to heavy physical labor. Must be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.
