Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial and residential properties. Your energetic approach to cleaning and upkeep will ensure that all spaces meet high standards of hygiene and appearance, contributing to a positive experience for staff, clients, and visitors alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces Handle trash removal and recycling processes efficiently to uphold cleanliness standards Maintain supplies by restocking restroom essentials and cleaning materials as needed Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or touch-up painting in residential or commercial spaces Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with safety regulations and company policies Support special cleaning projects like industrial cleaning or deep sanitation when required Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and polishing surfaces Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Join our team if you're passionate about creating clean, safe environments!
