Cleaner - Hourly (continuous recruitment)

Job Description:

At Glens Falls City School District, our school cleaners play a vital role in shaping our reputation and community pride. We are currently accepting applications for a part-time (hourly) position to fill in for vacancies and staffing coverage as needed. A school cleaner's primary responsibility is to maintain a clean and hygienic environment for students and staff. Duties include but are not limited to:

Cleaning:

Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting in classrooms, offices, locker rooms, restrooms, and gymnasiums Spot cleaning: Addressing spills and other unexpected cleaning needs

Sanitizing:

Cleaning bathrooms and other public areas Reporting issues: Notifying the supervisor of any hazards or defects Working with others: Collaborating with teachers and other staff to address custodial issues and set up for school events Following procedures and promoting safety: Adhering to the school's cleaning schedule and safety requirements

Job Qualifications Minimum Job Requirements:
