Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor polishers to maintain high-quality floor care. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks in large or specialized areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist with janitorial duties in both commercial and residential settings, adapting to different environments as needed. Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs or hazards and assisting with light upkeep tasks like painting or minor repairs. Maintain cleanliness logs, safety records, and supply inventories to ensure operational efficiency. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and others. Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning procedures. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and operating machinery. Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is a plus; certifications in cleaning or maintenance are advantageous but not mandatory.
