Custodian

POSITION SUMMARY

The Custodial Technician is to maintain day-to-day cleanliness in the Health and Wellness Center, Early Learning Center, and various spaces of the Fulton County

YMCA. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Empty trash and refill liners. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, sauna and steam room. Clean and maintain the Wellness Floor, Gymnasium, Community room, Pool shower, pool deck, lifeguard room and other spaces as needed. Restock supplies in bathrooms, showers, and Wellness Floor Clean inside windows and mirrors, as needed. As well as outside windows. Maintain and inventory of all supplies. Ensure proper labeling and dilution of all chemicals. Always Wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (gloves, etc.). Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent strongly preferred 1-2 years of related experience preferred 1-2 years of experience with wood and tile floor maintenance (i.e. wax, shine, strip) Basic knowledge of cleaning products Exceptional customer relations focused attitude Strong focus on critical problem solving Willingness to work in a team-centric environment
