Job Description

Position Title Cleaner Required Application Type School Related Personnel Job Description The successful candidate has a demonstrated ability to perform cleaning and caring for school buildings.
Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms and common areas. Sweeps, mop, strip, and wax floors. Dusts woodwork, furniture, and other articles. Washes windows, doors, and walls. Move and arrange furniture and equipment as needed. Replace light bulbs, towels, soap and other supplies. Remove trash and recyclables. Assist with room setups (events, meetings, school functions). May be assigned to other labor tasks as required. Job Qualifications New York State fingerprint clearance and Civil Service approval required. Salary as per MESPA contract. This is a full-time, 12-month position with hours of: (1) 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm Monday through Friday (3) 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Monday through Friday Job Category CLEANER Job Location To Be Determined
