Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks across different areas, ensuring that all spaces are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to keep all areas tidy and sanitary. Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines, floor scrubbers, and polishers to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct industrial cleaning procedures in designated areas to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain supplies by restocking cleaning products and equipment; notify management when inventory is low. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate personnel. Support custodial efforts during special cleaning projects like deep cleans or seasonal maintenance. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods. Experience with commercial cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
