Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are upheld. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines, floor scrubbers, and polishers to maintain pristine flooring surfaces Conduct industrial cleaning procedures in warehouses or manufacturing areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas by disinfecting surfaces and replenishing supplies Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, or painting to support overall facilities upkeep Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries Collaborate with facilities maintenance teams to report any repairs or hazards that require further attention Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings preferred Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuum cleaners effectively Experience with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is a plus Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Join our team and help create a spotless environment where everyone feels comfortable!
