Job Description

  • Budding Stars Inc is seeking a dedicated Janitor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Due to the nature of the building a background check is required. Cleaning will take place on a one time per week basis, preferably on Wednesdays between the hours of 8:30 am and 12:30 pm. Cleaning will take approximately 3 to 4 hours per visit. Hours may vary slightly depending on the cleaning need.
  • Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, wiping down glass doors/windows and cleaning off windowsills and ledges
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas
  • Replenish supplies in all restrooms
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
  • Monitor the cleaning supplies and report when they need to be restocked
  • Notify management of any repairs needed
  • Follow proper safety procedures and guidelines
  • Experience
  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
  • Must be able to lift 30+pounds
