Custodian

Do you play well with Otters? The Wild Center is looking for seasonal help with custodial duties around the campus!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performing routine custodial tasks (refuse and recyclable collection, floor maintenance, restroom maintenance and sanitizing, window cleaning, etc.). Maintaining facility tools in a clean and orderly manner. Performing necessary painting, staining, floor-refinishing and outdoor maintenance project work as required to maintain a quality facility appearance. Performing seasonal grounds keeping tasks (lawn care, plant care, etc.) Assisting with Special Event functions. Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to participate on a team focused on producing high quality results.

Qualifications:

Three years of custodial experience. Experienced with operation and maintenance of floor cleaning equipment. High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of proper and safe use of hand tools. PC literate

Physical Demands:

Requires occasional outdoor work. Requires operation of commercial indoor floor cleaning and outdoor lawn and garden equipment. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits Pay:
