Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Daytime Janitorial Technician and be the driving force behind maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during regular business hours. In this energetic role, you will perform a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure all facilities meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your janitorial expertise in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a professional appearance Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, hallways, and public spaces throughout the facility Assist with light custodial duties related to facility maintenance and minor repairs as needed Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities and report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly Use industrial cleaning tools and supplies efficiently to ensure thorough sanitation of all workspaces Support additional facilities maintenance tasks such as light painting or minor repairs to uphold the facility's appearance Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and sealing floors Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures Ability to work efficiently during daytime hours with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Physical ability to stand, bend, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Due to the nature of the work performed at this facility, applicants cannot have any association with PETA or similar organizations Join us in creating a pristine environment where everyone feels comfortable and valued!
