Commercial Cleaner

Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance Clean carpets using specialized equipment such as carpet extractors or steam cleaners to remove stains and dirt Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are well-equipped at all times Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle hazardous materials with care when necessary Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly Use environmentally friendly cleaning products whenever possible to promote sustainable practices Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and sealing is advantageous Experience with carpet cleaning equipment and methods is a plus Knowledge of environmental services standards and best practices in commercial cleaning is beneficial Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills are essential for success in this role

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
