In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are upheld. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a positive experience for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces Handle industrial cleaning tasks involving heavy-duty equipment and specialized cleaning solutions for large-scale or high-traffic areas Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting (residential or commercial), and general upkeep to ensure operational efficiency Operate custodial equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, buffers, extractors, and floor scrubbers Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly inspecting assigned areas and addressing any issues promptly Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe work environment Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and facilities maintenance practices Experience with commercial cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and extractors Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately Nice-to-have skills include tow motor experience Join our team and help us create clean, safe environments that inspire productivity and comfort!
