Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all occupants. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The hours are Monday- Friday 4:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors in commercial and residential settings. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces. Handle waste disposal and recycling according to established procedures. Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel promptly. Qualifications Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning standards is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Good physical stamina; must be able to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
