Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Daycare Cleaner to join our team during evening hours from 6pm to 9pm. In this vital role, you will ensure the safety, cleanliness, and hygiene of our childcare environment, creating a welcoming space for children, staff, and visitors alike. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will help foster a safe and healthy environment where children can thrive. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about maintaining clean, organized spaces in a dynamic childcare setting. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all daycare areas, including playrooms, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces Disinfect toys, surfaces, and equipment regularly to promote hygiene and safety standards Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to ensure a spotless environment Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels for janitorial materials Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities to ensure compliance with health regulations Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services or facilities maintenance Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including floor care and buffing Prior experience with industrial or residential cleaning is a plus Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during evening hours Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods Join us in creating a safe and inviting environment for children by bringing your cleaning expertise and positive energy to our team!
