CUSTODIAL WORKER JOB DETAILS
Starting Hourly Pay:
$18.87 with multiple pay increases over your first years of service Superior medical coverage starts the 1st of the month following start date Dental, vision, and basic life insurance premiums are free after eligibility period dependent on union representation. Generous Benefits package including vacation, sick, holiday, and personal leave. OPERS retirement - The employee contributes 10% of their salary towards their retirement. The employer contributes an amount equal to 14% of the employee's salary.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Under general supervision, cleans & maintains restrooms, living facilities &/or dining areas, offices (e.g., sweeps, mops, strips, buffs & waxes floors; vacuums carpets; cleans glass & mirrors; washes windows & walls; scrubs sinks, countertops, toilets; cleans & empties receptacles; dust varying surfaces; replenishes soap, toilet paper, paper towels) Responsible for exercising principles of infection control & implements infection control policies & procedures (e.g., wipes up spills & fluids on floor; washes & cleans resident beds & other furniture; proper use of personal protective equipment) Checks on supplies; stocks supply closets Reports need for repair of equipment; reports evidence of fire, illegal entry & theft of property Cleans offices (e.g., vacuums carpet, cleans & dusts furniture, fixtures & equipment; cleans & empties trash receptacles) Performs any additional job-related duties as assigned If you are ready for the next great step in your career……Come join us!
